About Us

Our WYC program: Westview Youth Cheer was organized in 1996. Our organization has grown along with the Westview Youth Football League and consists of approximately 3 squads and 50 cheerleaders. We help support the Westview Youth Football League by cheering at the youth football games.

Westview Youth Cheer promotes teamwork, sportsmanship, cheerleading basics and character development through the active participation in cheerleading. Westview Youth Cheer is open to girls and boys in Kindergarten through 8th grade who live in the Westview High School boundaries. Children who live outside our boundary and do not have a youth cheerleading program available to them are welcome and eligible to participate in Westview Youth Cheer.

If you are a participant in our sideline program you are eligible to apply for the Westview Youth Competitive Team! You can find out more about the competition teams if you click on the competition team page.

Highlights

We have year round league fundraising opportunities! Westview Youth Cheerleading is able to stay up and running thanks to the support of you! We have 2 year long fundraisers that we would love your support in.

Our first one is Scrip. Do you shop a lot? Make frequent runs to Starbucks, Target or shop Amazon? Scrip is an easy way to help support WYC by purchasing gift cards to those places you frequently shop at OR purchasing gift cards as gifts even. A certain percentage of your gift cards purchase will go to help support our league.

Our second fundraiser is a POPCAN DRIVE. We have join bottle drop in creating an account that goes directly towards WYC. If you would like to help by collecting your cans and bottles let us know! We can give you a blue bag and sticker.. simply fill it up and return it to any bottle drop location, or contact us at [email protected] and we can arrange a time to pick up bags from you to turn in.
